Our senior hurlers got off to a good start in the Armagh League last night (Tuesday 14/05/24) when they recorded a 2-21 to 1-18 victory over the local Seán Treacy’s of Lurgan at Tannaghmore Gardens. 

On a perfect evening for hurling, the lads built up an unassailable first half lead that they didn’t relinquish for the remainder of the match. The Black and Red went in at half time with a lead of 2-13 to 0-07 and held on throughout the second half to win by six points. 

All in all, in was a perfect start to the campaign and a victory over a side that gave us plenty of problems throughout last season!
